Uncommon Goods Unique Jewelry

Accessories can update any outfit and take it from basic to killer. I’m always drawn to jewelry with unique and interesting details. It’s a great way to distinguish your style and express your creative side. This is where Uncommon Goods comes in.

Founded in 1999, Uncommon Goods is a privately-owned retailer that endeavors to feature unique jewelry, designer décor, tabletop items, and handcrafted gifts created in harmony with the environment without harm to animals or people. It’s their mission to support and provide a platform for artists and designers, and about one-third of their entire collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials.

Not only are they helping the creators they work with, they give back and make an impact on their employees and the community as well. The lowest-paid seasonal worker starts at 50% above the minimum wage and for every purchase, they donate $1 to the non-profit of your choice. With so many distinctive pieces to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Their jewelry is fun to style and will definitely elevate whatever you pair with it. You can check out some of jewelry they have to offer here and here.

With hearts being my favorite shape, I knew immediately I needed the Gold Dipped Lace Heart Earrings that I saw on Shea. A druzy necklace has been on my wishlist and this stunning piece stood out to me with its rectangle shape and violet crystals.

I was also drawn to this mixed metals necklace. The hammered metal rings are oxidized for a one of a kind patina finish. This cool piece definitely makes a statement and I have gotten so many compliments when I wear it!

I love that all of these pieces are handmade and to make it more special, you get a little card about the artist that made the piece. Uncommon Goods offers more than jewelry, with graduations coming up, it’s a fun place to shop for a personalized gift too!
