I’ve always been obsessed with plaid and buffalo plaid is no exception. It’s one of my favorite patterns to style this time of year and is a winter staple in my closet. Easy to style, buffalo plaid is super versatile. The print looks great layered under a sweater or over a tee, tucked or untucked, and also dressed up. For today’s look wanted to put together an outfit that added a little glitz to the rugged print; a buffalo plaid shirt with a pleated maxi skirt.

Pairing the bold print of buffalo plaid with the light and flowy chiffon skirt took the lumberjack out of the equation and added a glam vibe. This is just the kind of outfit I’d wear to a get-together with friends and actually planned it for NYE but then decided to wear it for a casual night out. If you want to wear something that balances comfortable and glam, this is the combo for you.
