I don’t know about you, but the skincare products that I use in the spring and summer months do nothing for my skin in the winter. Once the temps drop, my skin changes drastically, and I can’t get enough hydration. Since winter isn’t going away anytime soon, I wanted to share my winter skincare routine with you!
Morning
AM Cleanser: Ursa Major Fantastic Face Wash
I keep this in my shower. I love a foaming cleanser, and this one is light and gentle. It doesn’t dry out my skin and makes it feel fresh and clean.
Serum: Beautycounter Rejuvenating Radiance Serum
I recently ran out of this serum and remembered I had still had an unopened rejuvenating radiance serum, also from Beautycounter. It’s from their anti-aging line, and I love how it instantly absorbs into your skin, prepping it for your moisturizer. I use this morning and night.
AM Moisturizer: Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion
I’ve been using this moisturizer for over a year, and it’s like magic in a bottle. It’s super hydrating, and the formula actually adjusts to your skins changing hydration levels throughout the day.
Sunscreen: Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen
Most sunscreens feel sticky, and I was never a fan of adding a layer of sunscreen over my moisturizer and under my makeup until I tried this one. Supergoop is fast absorbing, non-sticky and hydrates like a moisturizer. I put it on anytime I know I’m going to be outside.
Eye cream: Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Eye Treatment
I use this eye cream morning and night. It feels light but is just as potent as richer creams. It feels refreshing too after a long day!
Night
PM Cleanser: Beautycounter Cleansing Balm
I’ve been using this cleanser every night for almost two years and is one that I cannot live without! Not only does it cleanse but it removes all of my makeup, including waterproof mascara! I no longer need micellular water or eye makeup remover in my routine. I use it as a replenishing overnight mask during the winter months too!
PM Moisturizer: Countermatch Recovery Sleeping Cream
This is my favorite nighttime moisturizer for the winter months. It’s ultra rich, and just like my AM moisturizer, the formula adapts to your skins hydration levels. I mix it with a few drops of facial oil for an extra moisturizing boost!
PM Treatment: Overnight Resurfacing Peel
This is one of my favorite products that I use a few times a week! After cleansing, I apply a few pumps to my face, let it absorb for a few minutes, then follow up with my moisturizer. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is extra soft and glowing!
Winter Lip Treatment:
Worse than dry skin in the winter months is dry lips. I exfoliate with French Girl Rose Lip Polish and follow up with Kari Gran Peppermint Lip Whip. It’s slightly tinted, so it’s great for daytime when you just want a hint of color on your lips. These two products also come together in this Pretty in Pink Lip Kit!
Mask Treatment:
I try to treat myself with a mask 1 – 2 times a week. Right now I love Orgaid Organic Sheet Masks. My work friend Kyrie turned me on to these in our secret Santa exchange last Christmas. Tip: use your jade roller to help get your sheet masks smoothed out over your face!
I hope that this post is helpful if you are looking for new skincare products! If you have any questions about Beautycounter, I’m happy to help!
