Another week flown by and I can’t believe it’s almost July! I picked our daughter up from swim camp and drove five hours through an awful storm to Iowa for the Swim Pink A+ swim meet which supports swimmers and their families struggling with cancer. There were only a few other swimmers from her team that qualified, but we had so much fun!
The day we picked her up, the weather outside was rainy but humid. I decided to throw on some shorts because of the temperature, and put one of my comfiest popovers to stay dry.

When it’s blazing hot outside, it’s usually freezing indoors with the air conditioning. To stay comfortable throughout the day in the change of temp, I like to pair a long sleeved top with shorts.

My summer uniform for most days in Chicago is a tank and shorts. I got this beaded tank for a steal ($9.99) at Anthropologie!

Did summer go on vacation? 60 degrees this morning felt like fall and I’m definitely not ready for that! I wore layers until it warmed up and paired my polka dot top with a striped sweater for a fun pattern mix.
