Happy Friday! Have you heard of Ipsy? It’s is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription where you get full or deluxe size samples of a variety of products and a cute makeup bag. Ipsy sends out different variations of the glam bag each month. Here’s what I got in mine in September:
Pacifica Natural Waterproof Eye Pencil
I received the fringe color which is a rich brown. My go to eyeliner is the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil and while the Pacifica was easy to apply and glided on my eyelid easily enough, I don’t know if I would make the switch. I’m giving it a thumbs up because it’s a good back up!
Verdict:
Be a Bombshell Smooth Criminal Powder
This power is white but when you dust it on your face, it’s translucent and gives your skin a matte finish. It’s great for setting your makeup or getting rid of any shine.
Verdict:
Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask
This product smells great. My hair did feel smoother and looked shinier after using it. I don’t ever use hair masks so I have nothing to compare it to, but overall I was happy with the results.
Verdict:
Cailyn Tinted Lipgloss
This gloss is super pigmented. I liked the neutral color but not like the applicator. The gloss did not apply evenly and was streaky.
Verdict:
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel
This was probably my favorite product this month. Nail polish usually only lasts a day for me before it starts chipping. I swiped my nails with two coats of the polish and added the top coat while they were still tacky. This product delivered! My polish lasted over 3 days and it was easy to remove. The color is more summery but I will be buying more colors!
Verdict:
