If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love making something fun every season for the branch hanging in my breakfast nook. For winter, I made mini pom pom hats, and for fall, falling leaves. Hearts are my favorite shape, and I always look for a new DIY to incorporate into my Valentine’s decor. Today, I will show you an easy DIY made with wine corks.

The only supplies needed are wine corks, a hot glue gun, picture wire frame eye hooks, and jute ribbon. If you don’t save your wine corks, you can buy them at a Michaels or Hobby Lobby. To get started, screw an eye hook into the side of a cork. This will be your top piece and center of the heart.

I drew a heart on a piece of paper to use as a template to ensure my heart was as symmetrical as possible. Glue the wine corks together using the template as a guide and hold for a few seconds to let the glue set before moving on to the next cork. When dry, tie a piece of jute ribbon through the hook and hang it. It’s easy and simple!

I love how they turned out! If you don’t want to hang them, they look great as part of a Valentine’s tablescape or on a shelf. Just skip the eye hook and jute ribbon and lay them sideways!
