Casual Sequin Outfit | Holiday Outfit Idea

Today is week two of our Holiday Style series! If you missed last week, you can see how we each get Holiday Red-y HERE. Today we are talking about how we add sparkle to our style for the holidays. Since New Year’s Eve and sparkle go hand in hand, I’m styling a casual sequin outfit with plenty of shine!

The first thing I think of when I hear the word sparkle is sequins. We usually have a relaxed NYE with friends, so for my NYE outfit, I decided to dress down my sequin mini. If you are in a warmer climate, you can see how I styled it for summer daywear HERE. A sequin skirt always gives any look a more festive feeling. To keep it cozy, I styled it with a boucle sweater, blanket scarf, and Hunter boots. I kept jewelry and makeup to a minimum with pave ball earrings and t-bar ring for some extra glitz. A holographic polish on my nails and a bright red on my lips. I wasn’t sure how the sequin skirt would look with the Hunters but I’m really happy with how this look turned out!
