Have you read The Happiness Project? I read it a few years ago and subscribe to the author’s newsletter. One of the things that has stuck with me is the importance of taking time and treating yourself. When we treat ourselves to small indulgences, we are instantly re-energized and happier. It could be anything from taking a 15 minute break to do a sudoku or crossword puzzle, spending an hour reading a good book or getting a new haircut. For me, it’s at home spa treatments! And with summer right around the corner, it’s time to get swimsuit ready with a little pampering!
Here are some of my go-to’s for an at home spa day.
One: This this Detox Pamper Pack is an easy way to get started. It’s complete with 2 face masks, 1 hair mask and a foot cream.
Two: My eyes are always dry and tired and I’m obsessed with under eye masks like these that hydrate and brighten. I also like to keep these reusable eye masks in the fridge so they are ready whenever I need them!
Three: After a long hot bath, massage arich body butter into your skin while it’s still damp to lock in moisture.
Four: I don’t know about you, but my hands take a beating in the winter months. Hand Food is one of my favorite hand creams right now.
Five: Exfoliate your face, apply a mask and read a book or magazine while it’s working its magic. Then follow up with a moisturizer and eye cream.
