TBB Asks Holiday Edition

Happy Monday Friends! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty chill. I had a girls night get together on Friday night and spent the rest of the weekend finishing up with holiday decorations and relaxing! Today I’m joining The Blended Blog for their Holiday Edition of TBB Asks. The prompts are highlighted below, so if you’re a blogger, join us! If you’re not a blogger, I’d love it if you participated through the comments!

Candy Canes? Yes or No?

Yes! Sometimes put them on the tree but I usually have them in mason jars to add to hot chocolate!

Christmas morning early riser or sleep in?

When our daughter was younger she would wake us up at the crack of dawn but now that she’s a teenager, we all sleep in!

Did you shop on Black Friday? Yes or No?

Yes! My daughter and I have a Black Friday shopping tradition. We get to the mall between 5am – 6am but are finished by 10, when it starts to get busy.

Christmas Tree up in November? Yes or No?

I decorate and put our trees up Thanksgiving weekend. But, finding a time where the three of us are home at the same time to decorate them is another story!

Do you get holiday ideas from Pinterest? Yes or No?

Yes! What did we do before Pinterest? It’s always a source of inspiration! Love this fireplace setup I found over the weekend!

Christmas Glam or Ugly Sweater?

Christmas Eve is all about Christmas Glam but on Christmas day, my sister has had some fun Ugly Sweater contests!

Stocking Stuffers: Wrapped or Unwrapped?

Unwrapped!

Traditional or Modern Christmas Songs?

I’m going to have to say a mix of both. Nothing beats the beautiful Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas Eve but I also love Wham’s Last Christmas!

Fruitcake? Yes or No?

No, I’ve never been a fan and prefer Christmas cookies!

Is your Christmas Shopping Finished? Yes or No?

I usually try to shop throughout the year and finish up by Cyber Monday. I have some gifts purchased but still have a lot of shopping to do.

Is there snow in December where you live?

Chicago weather is unpredictable. We’ve already gotten lots of snow in November this year. But, it rained every day this weekend and now most of the snow is gone.

Classic Show: A Charlie Brown Christmas or Rudolph?

When I was pregnant with my daughter, my husband ordered all of the classic animated Christmas movies. We have everything from Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, A Year Without a Santa Claus…but I am particular to A Charlie Brown Christmas!

That’s a wrap! As always thank you for reading!
