Did you have a good weekend? My birthday plans were switched out at the last minute because my husband was asked to work on Saturday evening. Despite that, we had a great weekend. I kicked it off with dinner and margaritas at Uncle Julio’s on Friday night (their spicy jalapeno margaritas are the best!). He was sport to go shopping on Saturday afternoon, so I could pick up all of my birthday freebee’s and take advantage of the Kendra Scott discount (did you know you get 50% off any item during your birthday month?). Saturday night rounded out with drinks and apps with some girlfriends. Thank you so much to everyone who messaged, texted, and commented birthday wishes! You made me feel so special!
Today I wanted to share my recent TraderJoe’s haul with you. They are killing it as usual, with everything fun and unique. There were too way too many things that ended up in my shopping cart to put into one post. Here are some of the best Trader Joe’s products to pick up this fall.
Trader Joe’s Advent Calendars
My SIL has always gotten my daughter an Advent calendar for the holidays, and I love that TJ’s has branched out beyond chocolates to include your family pets. I picked up Advent calendars for our cats, and they have them for dogs too! I’m pretty excited to see what’s inside the 12 days of beauty too!
TJ’s Cough Remedy
When you’re feeling under the weather, TJs honey lemon cough drops do the trick and are not too harsh on your stomach.
Trader Joe’s Tasty Treats
This sipping chocolate sounded too good to pass up. Anyone try it before? If you want to double up on the chocolate, just add a hot cocoa stirring spoon.
How cute would these chocolate turkeys be displayed on your dessert plates this Thanksgiving?
Kiddos would have a blast putting together these gingerbread turkeys.
I picked up a few of TJ’s chocolate passports. They are such a fun stocking stuffer for anyone that travels frequently or would be great for a hostess or teacher gift.
This greek yogurt is under my tasty treat category because it really does taste just like a caramel apple. Yum!
TJ’s Products For the Home
I don’t know if their waxed cotton food wrap and bags are new or if I just never noticed them before. Either way, I want to use as little plastic as possible, and these are an excellent alternative.
My sister introduced me to the moisturizing cream, and I couldn’t get enough of it while I was in Vegas with the dry air. I also picked up ginger hand cream to keep in my bag. The pink grapefruit soap has a pretty citrus scent!
Trader Joe’s Pantry Staples
TJ’s corn and chile tomatoless salsa and fig butter are pantry staples to have on hand when you need to whip up an appetizer in a flash. You can mix both with cream cheese for an easy dip. I have a recipe for a lemon ricotta arugula salad that I want to try that calls for a rose vinaigrette. I’ve never been disappointed with their salad dressings, so I hope this one’s a win too!
Both of these cheeses are always a hit. And, you can’t go wrong with this cracker assortment.
Easy Lunches
If you’re a fan of Mexican street corn, you will love this quinoa salad! I was intrigued by the addition of feta in their tomato soup. Has anyone tried this yet?
That’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed the best Trader Joe’s products to pick up this fall. What are some of the favorites you’d like to try?
As always, thank you for reading! Stay healthy and safe!
