Don’t you love how the athleisure trend blends practical with fashionable? I’m wearing the Kristina Leggings and Faroe Sherpa Jacket, part of Peach’s new Modern Studio early spring collection. Both of these pieces are must-have staples to have in your closet. This jacket is so cozy, but the pale blue color reminds you that spring is finally on its way! And, can we talk about these leggings? The fun tie-dye print is on-trend, and they’re high-waisted and seamless, which equates to super comfortable.

Today I wanted to show you how you can turn your performance wear into an effortless comfy chic look in a snap. With a few swaps, you will be ready for drinks with friends, lunch, shopping, and a movie. Dressing up these leggings was a cinch by adding a flowy boho top, wedge sneakers, and oversized scarf worn as a wrap. A few layered necklaces and fun earrings rounded out the look, and I was ready to head out the door.
Other styling ideas:
- Add an oversized sweater + OTK boots
- Add a crisp white button-down shirt + booties
- Add a tunic length tee + denim jacket or leather jacket + wedge sneakers
- Add a fitted tee + blazer + wedge booties
- Add a poncho or cape + tall boots

Since we’re on the topic of workout wear, I thought I would share tips that have worked for me for staying motivated with working out. I tend to fall into the procrastination trap every so often, and I hope they will help you to stay motivated too!
Tips to Stay Motivated with Your Workouts
Find a workout buddy. Having someone to workout with will help hold you accountable to get to the gym, plus it’s always more fun working out when you can catch up with a friend.
Tell yourself you’ll do 20 minutes; then you can leave. On days when I’d instead do anything but workout, I tell myself I’ll swim/do cardio for 20-minutes, then can go home. Then once I get started, I tell myself I can do five more minutes, ten more, etc., and I usually end up completing my entire workout.
Create personal goals and keep a journal of what you completed and how you felt after your workout. Keeping a log is helpful if you prefer to work out alone. Whatever you choose for your goals, make sure they are trackable so you can look back and see how far you’ve come.
Schedule your workouts like an appointment and build in an hour that you will be taking care of your body every day. Write it in your calendar and keep it as you would any other necessary appointment.
Build in a rewards system. You can reward yourself for going to the gym, from buying a cute workout top to treating yourself to a smoothie bowl afterward. I remember when I was getting up at 4:30 am to swim, and my motivation was relaxing in the eucalyptus steam room when my workout was complete!
