Things I Loved in February

Hello friends! It’s the last Wednesday of the month and time to link up with Shay and Sheaffer for this month’s What’s Up Wednesday! The prompts are highlighted, so if you’re a blogger, check it out and join the fun; if not, I’d love it if you participated in the comments! Here’s what’s up this past month!

What I’m Loving

I recently tried Caudalie’s Vinosource SOS Hydration Kit, and this trio made with hydrating grape ingredients is definitely a skin saver. The beauty elixir tightens pores and gives you an instant glow, and the moisturizing cream is silky rich and long-lasting.

I added two new Tula products to my skincare collection. I love how the Rose Glow Eye Balm gives you an instant pick me up while getting rid of dark circles and puffiness. And the Face Filter Blurring Primer gives you a warm-toned glow, so it’s perfect for days you don’t want to wear any makeup but need a little something.

What We’ve Been Up To

We are moving in with family temporarily at the end of March until we can figure out if we want to move back to the city or somewhere warm out of state. We moved into this rental 5 years ago so our daughter could swim high school. Now that she’s in college, it makes no sense to stay in this big house. I’d love to know where you live and your favorite thing about your town!

What I’m Dreading

Moving! Every spare moment is spent packing and taking things to our storage unit.

What I’m Working On

Spring planning for the blog. Fashion posts are always the most popular, so I’m working on combining style and lifestyle posts like I did here: How to Style Your Workout Clothes for a Comfy Chic Look + Tips to Stay Motivated with Your Workouts.

What I’m Watching

My guilty pleasure is watching the Bachelor. Anyone else get anxiety watching Madison and Peter climbing to the top of Sky Point Climb on Monday night?

What I’m Listening To

I just started listing to The Barney’s Podcast. It features conversations about different cultural topics with artists and creatives.

What I’m Wearing

Lots of cozy layers. I’d love it if you followed me on Instagram and LIKEtoKNOW.it, if you’re not already, where you’ll find more outfit inspiration!

What I’m Doing This Weekend

My sister is in town until Sunday, so maybe heading into the city. More packing and a date night with the hubs.

What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month

Our daughter will be home for spring break, and then the weekend after she goes back, I’m heading out East for her sorority’s Moms Weekend!

What Else is New

If you missed it, yesterday I reviewed Simply Earth’s Essential Oils DIY Recipe Box,and tomorrow I’ll be back for the Thursday Fashion Files linkup with Carrie.

As always, thank you for reading!

Oh boy, a move! That is intense. I will be anxious to see what you decide. It’s so hot here in FL and although that may seem like a good thing in the winter, the rest of the year the heat is oppressive!

Love all your different outfits Jill. Especially the stripes and pop of red 🙂 Thanks for sharing at Creative Mondays.

  15. So many adorable cozy outfits, Jill! I have been living in my pajamas lately. I hate moving as well which is why we recently bought the house we were renting. Now I am completely over these atrocious winters and ready to move south! So we are implementing a 5-7 year plan to make our way to North Carolina or Tennessee! I wish you much luck with your move! Thanks for sharing and linking up.
