How’s everyone doing with the extended stay in place order? I hope you all are staying healthy and safe! My big outings this week were to the post office and Costco! When I was at Costco, continuous announcements were made reminding shoppers to stay 6 feet away from others. While I understand that message is needed, it was eerie and I felt like I was part of a strange futuristic movie. To stay sane, I’ve been going on a long 3 – 4 mile walk every day and trying to practice more self-care. And, if you missed Tuesday’s post, I’ve created a self-care challenge for April! You can do all of the prompts from home. I hope that you’ll join me!
I purged much of my closet over the past few months and found that I have lots of tank tops and sweaters but really needed more short and long sleeve tops. When I came across this top from Mint Julep, it immediately went into my cart. It’s the perfect spring transition top and checks all of the boxes. Waffle knit, bubble sleeves and leopard print, yes, please! I love the contrast between black and white so I styled my leopard sleeve top with neutrals. I think it will look cute with white or denim shorts as it gets warmer too!
