Happy Friday Eve! Today is extra special for me because when the clock strikes 5 pm, I’m heading into a 4 day weekend. Tomorrow, I’m flying to Rhode Island to visit my daughter and help her move into her summer rental, and I can’t wait! I usually dread moving, but this should be an easy move for her. The beauty of being young and living in sorority housing for the past two years is that she hasn’t accumulated that much stuff yet. Anyway, today I wanted to share an effortless chic spring outfit idea with you.

With spring in full swing, I’m trading my moto jackets in for bomber jackets. Lightweight and perfect for layering, they’re another wardrobe must-have. My white bomber jacket was the inspiration for this effortless chic spring outfit idea. The sheer pleated sleeves give it a unique combination of elegant and sporty.

Bomber jackets will instantly add a stylish element to any look. So whether you wear it with a dress, jumpsuit, or jeans, it will always pull the outfit together and look super chic. I initially paired my bomber jacket with white denim for a monochrome look. It looked great with the pops of chambray, but I ultimately decided on black denim to give the look added contrast. I added layered necklaces to complete the look. Another chic accessory is hoop earrings. They’re a timeless classic.
