Summer Skincare Routine

I don’t know about you, but trying new skincare products is one of my favorite things to do. With so many skincare options on the market, it can be overwhelming to sift through and figure out what works best for your skin and has clean ingredients. I change my skincare routine seasonally and usually the products I use too. Today Iโ€™m sharing my summer skincare routine and must-have products. But before we get to that, letโ€™s talk about my skin type.

MY SKIN TYPE

Our skin changes as we age and go from season to season, but my skin has always been on the dry side. As Iโ€™ve gotten older, my skin tone has become more uneven, has some redness, and, not to mention, fine lines and wrinkles.

MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE

I start my morning with Tula’s Purifying Cleanser. It leaves your face feeling fresh and clean without any dryness. Use code INPINK15ย for 15% off.

After I cleanse, I use theย Watermelon Glow Toner. I recently started using this one from Glow Recipe and love it. It smells amazing, and I do see a difference in my pores.

SkinCeuticals is a brand I’ve used on and off over the years, and I always come back to it. The C E Ferulic is one of my favorite vitamin C serums. It improves the texture of my skin and gives your skin a healthy glow. Side note: it does smell like hotdogs, but I love it so much I’m willing to overlook that.

I follow up my vitamin c serum with Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 Gel, a moisturizing serum, for extra hydration. It’s formulated with Vitamin B5 and Hyaluronic Acid and enhances your daily moisturizer.

In between my serums and moisturizer, I apply my eye cream. The Banana Bright Eye Cream from Olehenricksen does it all. Disguises dark circles, illuminates the under-eye area and hydrates your skin.

Next, I moisturize with Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. This rich cream lives up to the hype around it and plumps my dry skin.ย  It’s enriched with hyaluronic acid, camellia oil, rosehip oil, and vitamins C+E.

Finally, I finish up with Tula’s Protect and Glow Sunscreen. It blends easily, doesn’t clog your pores, and gives your skin a healthy glow for those makeup-free days. Use code INPINK15ย for 15% off.

EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE

First up, removing any makeup. I recently started using Cetaphil Makeup Remover, and it does the trick. Plus, it’s wallet-friendly at $8.00.

Then I follow up with ESPA’s Yuzu & Ginger Cleansing Sorbet. I love this cleansing balm because when you add a little water, it turns into cleansing milk. I’m also a fan of ESPA’s Optimal Skin Pro Cleanser. It doubles as a mask!

After my skin is squeaky clean, I apply KORRES Sculpt and Lift Serum with aย jade roller. I also rotate in ESPA’s Tri-Active Lift & Firm Serum and Optimal Skin Pro Serum every few days.

I discovered the Fleur & Bee Eyes Eyes Baby Eye Cream when it came in my Kinder Beauty Box. It’s infused with lavender, so it helps you wind down before bed. It’s extremely hydrating and helps to soften fine lines and reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffy eyes.

I’ve been using City Beauty’s Multi-Action Sculpting Cream the past few weeks, and I’m a fan! It tightens and firms while nourishing your skin and keeping it hydrated. Use code CITYPARTNERS15 for 15% off your purchase.

My last step is applying the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask to my lips. This is one of my winter must-haves, but I use it year-round for soft and hydrated lips.
