A Stylish Way to Wear Your Graphic Tee

I’m a sucker for a good graphic tee. They are one of my favorite closet staples. Not only are they comfortable to wear, but they’re also visually appealing and versatile. Today I wanted to share a simple outfit formula and a stylish way to wear your graphic tee.

I’m probably aging myself, but do you remember the iron-on tee shirt shops back in the late ’70s, early 80’s? I’d save up my allowance for months and then head to the mall to buy a new graphic tee. All of the designs would be on the wall – everything from images, slogans, to rock bands, and you’d pick out what you wanted and then your shirt color. Then they would press the decal onto the shirt. I think one of my first tees was the classic smiley face.

Anyway, back to today’s outfit. Graphic tees always work well with jeans. My white blazer was the perfect completer piece to take the look up a notch and add some structure. I added wedge sandals and simple jewelry to tie the outfit together. This look is perfect for transitioning to fall and for those warmer late summer days, swap out your jeans for denim shorts (see last week’s post on how to style denim shorts 5 ways).
