Hi Friends! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! On Saturday, I went downtown with friends for a 50th birthday celebration. We had dinner at Three Dots and a Dash, a cool Polynesian tropical bar. Then, I went to see Jagged Little Pill, the Alanis Morissette musical. Something about being in the city invigorates my soul, and it was the second time in a week I was downtown. So here’s Life Lately in April. Keep reading to see what I’ve been up to! Linking up with Shayย andย Sheaffer on Wednesday for What’s Up Wednesday.
Laura Geller Beauty Luncheon
I was invited to Laura Geller Beauty’s influencer luncheon last week and spent time with the fabulous Laura Geller, who is just lovely and so down to earth. The whole Blonde Squad attended and had a fun afternoon. The event was held at Cindy’s Rooftop inside the Chicago Athletic Club. If you’re not familiar, Laura Geller’s makeup is created for mature skin, and her palette was one of Oprah’s favorite things in 2022. What I love most about Laura Geller is her decision to only use models over 40 in their social campaigns to represent the brand.

What I’ve Read
Daisy Jones & The Six
A gripping novel about the whirlwind rise of a fictional iconic 1970s rock group and their beautiful lead singer, revealing the mystery behind their infamous breakup.
The Secrets We Kept
A tale of secretaries turned spies, of love and duty, and sacrifice–inspired by the true story of the CIA plot to infiltrate the hearts and minds of Soviet Russia, not with propaganda, but with the greatest love story of the twentieth century: Doctor Zhivago.
What We’re Watching
Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Set in the late 1950s, Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a New York housewife, discovers she has a knack for stand-up comedy and pursues a career in it. I’m obsessed with the fashion in this show!
Liaison
A thriller following two agents and former lovers that must work together to combat international cyberattacks threatening the United Kingdom while also confronting the buried secrets of their destructive relationship.
The Reluctant Traveler
The series follows Canadian actor Eugene Levy, who travels to remarkable hotels worldwide and explores the places and cultures surrounding them.
Products I’ve Tried
Tula Berry Relaxed Detoxing & Toning Face Mask Stick
Limited-edition glow-up in partnership with the content creator, Amber Massey. I love that this mask is a stick format and mess-free. It’s loaded with apple cider vinegar to help tone and refine pores and a skin-smoothing triple-berry blend to improve skin texture and smoothness. Use code INPINK15 for 15% off your Tula purchase.
Colleen Rothschild Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream
If you have dark circles, check out this tinted eye cream. I can’t say enough good things about it. The crease-free formula is like magic. It hydrates, brightens, and illuminates your under-eye area and corrects dark circles.
