Ah, the shacket. A shirt-jacket hybrid that has become an absolute fall staple! Shackets are the layering piece you need in your closet. They combine the coziness of your favorite hoodie but are a bit more elevated and so so easy to throw on ago. In my opinion, you can never own “too many” shackets! I will choose which to wear from my collection based on the weather and how casual or dressy I want to look. The best part is, whatever look you’re going for, there’s a shacket to go with it! I’m sharing eight shacket outfit ideas to copy this fall.

The Best Ways to Style a Shacket for Fall

Look #1

This is one of my favorite shacket outfits. Grab a simple tee and classic jeans as the staple pieces to build on. Then, add an elevated, chic belt with boots and a bag of the same color to tie the look together. This is a great look to wear out shopping or lunch with family or friends on fall weekends!

I styled this look by choosing one of my favorite floral navy dresses. To make this dress fall-proof, I added warm thermal leggings (a great style tip for many dresses you may have in your wardrobe!) I chose black combat boots and a black felt hat to dress the look down just a bit. The shacket is under $100 and warm/ thicker. Plus, it’s long enough to add a belt that cinches the waist. The belt adds a super chic twist to the look!

Here I wore a different shacket over the same outfit I styled the belted look! This shacket is cropped and zips up instead of buttoning. The plaid outer layer with the cozy sherpa lining is timeless and a super warm and cozy option for under $100!
