Have you ever shopped at Chicwish? Iโve been purchasing pieces from them on and off for several years, and today, Iโm sharing my latest spring workwear outfits from the vintage-inspired clothing brand, plus an updated review. If youโre unfamiliar with Chicwish, they offer a wide variety of affordable styles that range from retro to feminine to minimalistic.
Most of the inventory is marketed toward women, but plenty of unisex styles are available. They even have kidsโ clothing and mommy and me outfits. Itโs a great site to shop if you want to incorporate seasonal trends into your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Letโs dive into my Chicwish review so that you can learn more about the brand and if you’re already familiar, you can skip ahead to Workwear Outfits for Spring.
What can you get on Chicwish?
The site offers the following clothing categories:
- Tops
- Dresses
- Bottoms
- Outerwear
- Spring Workwear
- Accessories
- Loungewear
- Swimwear
How Chicwish Quality and Pricing Compares to Other Brands
Almost everything on the Chicwish site is under $100, with an average price of $50. The quality is similar to brands like ASOS, Modcloth, or Zara. Iโve always been pleasantly surprised with the quality of Chicwish clothing and think itโs consistent with the pricing. If youโre wondering, my Chicwish pieces have washed well and maintained their shape. I recommend, however, that you read reviews on any of the pieces youโre considering adding to your cart.
The Chicwish Shopping Experience
With hundreds of pieces in every category, the Chicwish site can be overwhelming to navigate. I always start with a list of pieces that Iโm looking for and then check out their Instagram page for inspiration. For this post, I focused on spring workwear.
Chicwish Sizing
Iโve found the sizing to be pretty consistent for the most part. I always refer to the sizing charts to compare exact measurements and read the reviews. Itโs important to note that many sweaters and skirts run S/M and M/L, so consider that when shopping. Iโve tried clothing and accessories from almost every category that Chicwish offers except swimwear so that I can speak with authority on cost, quality, and fit.
A feature that I always think is helpful is to see a piece styled in real life, especially for spring workwear. For many items, youโll see an Instagram carousel at the bottom of the page showing the item styled by a customer or influencer. If there arenโt any photos, I will usually skip that item.
Shipping and Returns
Chicwish is based in China, but your order will ship from warehouses in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Belgium, Canada, or Australia, depending on your location and where the items are in stock. Processing time is 3 โ 4 days, and youโll receive your order in 8 โ 12 business days after it has shipped. Shipping rates depend on the location, but in the US, for orders over $50, shipping is free. The spring workwear items I ordered arrived in just over two weeks.
If you are in the US, the brand offers 30-day free returns with two options: store credit plus an additional $5 to spend or refund back to your original payment. That gives me extra confidence when Iโm making a purchase. Returned items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging with attached tags. Simply contact the brand for a return slip and further instructions to start your return.
Workwear Pieces for Spring
Sleeveless Tweed Dress
This dress is really cute. I didn’t notice the little specks of gold sequins woven in the fabric, but I still think it’s work-appropriate. And for those days when the AC is blasting, layer a satin or silky blouse underneath it. I’m wearing a size S.
Sleeveless Top & Pants Set
It’s hard to tell with the photo, but the color of this set is mauve, and I ordered it in an XS. The pants are the perfect length to wear with a flat or heel, and I’m 5’4″ for reference. I wish the trousers were lined, but overall, it’s a great set for the office.
Retro Knit Dress
The name of this dress is spot on and I love the retro vibes. It’s an easy one-and-done dress and a really comfortable knit. I ordered it in a S/M.
Colorblock Maxi Skirt & Tie Back Top
This maxi skirt is the perfect neutral print to take you through summer and into fall. I love the colorblocking and pleating. It’s fully lined, and I’m wearing an XS/S. The top has shoulder pads and ties at the waist in the back. I’m wearing a size S.
