The holiday season is here, and itโs time to make your wardrobe as festive as your spirit! Welcome to part one of my two-part blog series, where Iโll be sharing 12 days of festive outfit ideas to inspire your seasonal style. Today, weโre diving into the first six outfits that are perfect for everything from casual gatherings to special celebrations. Iโm also sharing these outfits on Instagram โso make sure youโre following along there as well!
Festive Holiday & Christmas Outfits (Days 1 – 6)
Day 1: Casual Holiday Outfit
Start your holiday festivities with an effortless Apres Ski-inspired look. A cozy sweater, classic denim, heeled hiking boots, and a quilted bag make for a laid-back yet put-together vibe. Perfect for a tree-trimming party or holiday shopping.
Day 2: Metallic Party Outfit
Metallics are always a good festive outfit idea for the holidays. This grey oversized sweater paired with a silver metallic slip skirt is the perfect duo. Add black suede mid-calf boots and a pop of red with a handbag, and youโre ready for a festive brunch or a holiday party.
Day 3: Holidays at the office
There’s something about velvet that goes hand in hand with the holidays. Pair a burgundy velvet blazer with black wide-leg coated denim for a chic and polished outfit. The sleeveless black top with rosette detail and the tweed clutch add additional texture to this look. This outfit is perfect for a holiday office party or a festive dinner date.
Day 4: Dressy holiday party
For a show-stopping look, I’m wearing a red maxi dress from Clara Sunwoo. It’s wrinkle-free and travel-friendly. For a festive holiday outfit, I paired it with black suede pumps, a fur topper, and a black rhinestone bag for a little extra glam. This outfit is ideal for a holiday gala or a special evening out.

chicwish
I put together these last two festive outfit ideas with pieces from Chicwish. Iโve always loved this vintage-inspired brand for its affordable and unique styles. You’ll find that almost everything on their site is under $100, with an average price of $50. The quality is similar to that of brands like ASOS, Modcloth, and Zara. The sizing is pretty consistent, but I always refer to the sizing charts to compare exact measurements and read the reviews.
Chicwish is based in China, but your order will ship from warehouses in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Belgium, Canada, or Australia, depending on your location and where the items are in stock. Shipping rates depend on the location, but in the US, for orders over $50, shipping is free. These holiday items arrived in less than 10 days. If you are in the US, the brand offers 30-day free returns with two options: store credit plus an additional $5 to spend or refund back to your original payment.
Day 5: holiday outfit for any occasion
The rhinestone bow brooches on this cropped cardigan from Chicwish are adorable and add a playful element to this outfit. Paired with black wide-leg ponte pants, suede pointed-toe booties, and a colorful tweed clutch, also from Chicwish. This outfit is festive enough for a cookie exchange or a casual office party.
Day 6: Burgundy dress
Another Chicwish find is thisย burgundy midi dress, a nice alternative to red. It has a self-tie bow you can tie in front or back (I opted for the back). I added patterned tights, open-toe heeled sandals, and a tweed clutch to complete this ultra-chic look. Whether itโs a holiday concert, party, or night out, this outfit strikes the perfect balance between festive and stylish.
That’s a wrap. I’ll be back with part two and six more festive holiday outfit ideas next week. Iโd love to hear which outfit is your favorite so farโleave a comment below!
