Hi friends! Saturday is Feb 1, and Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. Do you go out to celebrate? My husband and I typically don’t do much on Valentine’s Day, but we’ll have a date night sometime in February, and my girlfriends have been talking about going out to celebrate Galentine’s Day. So, I wanted to share some pink and red outfits with you today.
I’m rethinking pink and red and combining these two colors in a few of the outfits I styled. It might seem bold, but these two hues complement each other beautifully, creating looks that stand out without being over the top. I hope you find some inspiration whether you are going out to celebrate Valentine’s / Galentine’s Day or spending a low-key evening at home.
1. Grey Sweater + Red Tulle Skirt
I’ve had this oversized sweater with red heart elbow patches for years (last seen here). And, you might remember my red tulle skirt from the holidays. Together, they make a fun yet practical outfit. To keep it grounded, I chose a pair of white sneakers. The mix of textures—cozy knit and airy tulle—strikes the right balance between playful and polished.
2. Red Blouse + Pink Corduroy Pants
Burgundy and pink create a rich, unexpected color combination that feels fresh for Valentine’s Day. I paired my burgundy blouse with my favorite pink corduroy pants. A neutral handbag and boots pull this pink and red outfit together.
3. Pink Top & Red Blazer
A pink printed top paired with a red blazer is equal parts professional and festive. I opted for jeans and tall boots to keep the outfit streamlined, but this pairing would also look great with trousers or a slip skirt. This color combo adds energy to the outfit while balancing fun and functionality.
4. White Turtleneck + Grey Denim
This sweater was last worn during the holidays with the tulle skirt in the first outfit. The three little hearts on the neck and cuffs are a sweet detail, and when I ordered it, I knew it would be the perfect February sweater. For this outfit, I kept it simple with wide-leg jeans and red boots. This outfit feels understated yet festive.
Are you wearing pink and red outfits in February? Which look is your favorite?
