How to easily style an olive green dress.
Happy Friday Eve, Friends! Last year, I received lots of positive feedback from you about my outfits under $100 series. So, with Memorial Day behind us, it’s officially summer, and I’ve got a complete summer outfit for you from Target that is under $100, including the handbag and shoes.
We saw plenty of olive green looks on the runway this spring. And when I discovered this dress at Target, I knew it would be a summer staple. Despite its dark, murky color, olive is a refreshing change from your summer brights. It also looks perfect, contrasted with other neutral tones.
This dress looks great on its own, but adding a belt to this look not only helps to define your waist, but the off-white crochet also breaks up the darker hue.
One of the major footwear trends this summer is the see-through effect. These clear sandals are under $25 and are a great way to try the trend.
If you want to completely change up a look, add a hat. They’re a fun, feel-good accessory that makes a statement and covers up a bad hair day. I chose a baseball hat but a fedora, straw visor, or bucket hat would also work.
If you’re heading to the office, add a blazer and wedge sandals or heels to style this dress for work. And to dress it down, ditch the belt and swap the sandals for sneakers.
