Not only is a plaid blazer a timeless fashion piece that every woman should have in her wardrobe, but its versatility makes it a must-have whether you want to achieve a polished office look or a casually chic ensemble. So, whether you are mad about plaid or want to try the trend, today, I’m here to show you three fresh plaid blazer outfit ideas.

I chose to layer my plaid blazer over my black midi dress because that’s what I already had in my closet. I opted for sock booties for this outfit, but it would look equally great with suede pumps, heeled loafers, or tall boots. Another afterthought: add a belt to cinch the blazer at the waist for a more tailored appearance, as I did here.

For a look that seamlessly blends business with a lot of casual, consider pairing your plaid blazer with neutral wide-leg pants and a graphic tee. Here, the blazer is your statement piece, and I picked neutral-colored pants for a nice contrast against the plaid. There are so many fun options for wide-leg pants right now, but this look would work with regular trousers as well. The graphic tee gives this look a pop of personality. Band tees, quotes, iconic images – any graphic tee will do. Wedge booties in a warm fall tone balanced out the look.
