The Barefoot Dreams cardigan has been on my wishlist since Pinterest Told Me To highlighted it as a Santa Alert last fall. I recently grabbed it during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and today I’m excited to share four Barefoot Dreams cardigan outfits.

 

This cardigan is probably the softest piece of clothing I’ve ever worn! Lightweight and flattering, it drapes perfectly over your body. While it is a splurge item, it will keep you warm and cozy through the winter. And, it is a great piece to transition into spring or to wear on cooler summer nights. Working from home, I know I will often reach for this cozy cardigan.

 

How to Style the Barefoot Dreams Cardigan 4 Ways

My good friend, Laureen, also recently purchased the Barefoot Dreams cardigan. On the Nordstrom site, the cardigan shows as loungewear but it’s great for everyday wear too. We thought it would be fun to show you how versatile this piece is and worth the price by dressing it up and styling it for every season! Laureen has the cardigan in the ombre color, and I have the pewter color. Here is how we styled the Barefoot Dreams cardigan outfits for each season!

 

Spring Outfit

 

Springtime means pulling the tank tops out of storage. While it is not warm enough to wear a tank alone, the Barefoot Dreams cardigan is the perfect alternative to a traditional cardigan, jean jacket, or blazer.

 

Summer Outfit

 

I wore this sundress to an outdoor concert and had the Barefoot Dreams cardigan in my bag, just in case.   It went from 80 degrees in the day to the low 60s that evening, and I was glad I had it with me!

 

Fall Outfit

 

The Barefoot Dreams cardigan is a perfect transition piece into fall. Effortlessly style it with booties, skinny jeans, and a colorful top. It will also look great paired with leggings, a tee, and converse.

 

Winter Outfit

 

Anyone who must endure the Chicago winter should have a Barefoot Dreams cardigan in their closet. The ombre looks great paired with black skinnies and boots. The printed scarf adds another cozy layer and a pop of color. It’s perfect to wear to work or dress up for a casual date night.
