What to Wear with a Linen Jumpsuit

linen jumpsuit outfit ideas

Today’s post is all about what to wear with a linen jumpsuit. Jumpsuits can be hit or miss, in my opinion. Sometimes, I feel like Goldilocks, trying to find the one that is just right. I recently ordered this linen jumpsuit from Quince with high hopes it would be a hit, and I’m happy to report that it is! It comes in 10 color options, is under $60, and runs true to size (for reference, I’m 5’4 and wearing a small).

Let me tell you why this linen jumpsuit checks all of the boxes. First, it has a square neckline and wide straps, making it bra-friendly. It’s made from 100% linen and is eco-friendly. With no buttons or zippers, it pulls on and off, which makes bathroom trips easy. It has a removable belt, so you can swap it out to change up the look. Finally, it can go right in the washing machine and dryer.

Let’s get started on a few ideas on what to wear with a linen jumpsuit.

Four Outfits with a Linen Jumpsuit

Wear a Linen Jumpsuit On it’s Own

This jumpsuit looks equally great dressed up or down; all you need to do to alter the look is change your shoes and belt.

Style tip: Wear it with sneakers and a baseball cap for a daytime look. In the evening, wear heeled sandals or pumps for date night or a night out with friends.

With a Linen Blouse Layered Over the Jumpsuit

A short-sleeved linen blouse in a contrasting color is the perfect completer piece to keep you cool when it’s hot outside. This top is long enough that you could tie it at the waist, but I decided to wear it open to give a peek at the jumpsuit.

Style tip: Button the blouse and belt it for added interest.

With a Tee Layered Under the Linen Jumpsuit

Yes, you can layer a tee under a jumpsuit. This styling option adds a playful element (think overalls) and gives you more coverage and added warmth if you’re in air conditioning.

Style Tip: Opt for print or lighter or darker complimentary color to add contrast.

Wear a Linen Jumpsuit With a Blazer

Blazers are a nice change from a denim jacket or cardigan and instantly elevate your outfit. I paired it with a platform sandal for a chic summertime look. This outfit seamlessly takes you from the office to a night out with friends.

Style tip: Pick a neutral color blazer for a monochrome look.
