Hey everyone! How was your weekend? I finally got to meet Carrie in person on Saturday! She was in town for the Chicago marathon, and we had a fun afternoon at brunch and then shopping! Carrie is so sweet, and it was just like we’ve known each other for ages! Today I’m excited to share my fall home tour with you and hope it gives you some decor ideas!
I love everything about fall, from the fashion to the beautiful colors we see outdoors to everything pumpkin! My fall home post is long overdue! I brought out my fall decor over Labor Day weekend and haven’t had an opportunity to take photos until now. I usually incorporate Halloween decor during October, but this year I decided to keep it to a fall scheme since I had too much going on. So without further ado, here we go! Starting with the front porch…
Fall Porch
I made this wreath a few years ago, and it’s still one of my favorites. Check out myย Fall Monogram Wreath Tutorial toย make one for yourself!
I wonย Leslie’s giveaway last month and received this pretty lantern swag from Annesย Adoorables!
This topiary style ivy heart wreathย was easy to make and is perfect for indoors or out. Click HERE for the simple tutorial.
Fall Family Room
I had leftover paint from my chalkboard door tutorial and decided to paint our back door too.
Just like shopping your closet, I am a big proponent of shopping your home. Swapping what you have from room to room gives your home a fresh look. I switched out the neutral pillows for the paisley print from our basement family room andย then the summer foliage for fall leaves and branches. My candlestick holders that were missing last fall finally turned up, and I substituted pumpkins for candles.
Fall Breakfast Nook
Do you have an abundance of pumpkins? I may have gone overboard with my pumpkin collection and almost picked up a few more from the dollar spot at Target the other day. But, I held off and did a count when I got home. According to my inventory, I have over 20, so I think I should be set.
Do you remember my kitchen table was robin egg blue? I finally refinished it over the summer and love how it turned out! I’ll be sharing my how-to post in a few weeks. The only new additions in this room are the cute barnwood vase I picked up last month at the Renegade Craft Fair and the pumpkin spice mug from Cami Monet. You can get 10% off a mug for yourself with code DousedinPink!
I always have something seasonal hanging from this branch in my kitchen. Click HERE for myย falling leaves tutorial.
Fall Dining Room
We’ve had this stainless dining table almost as long as we’ve been married. I love the rustic urban vibe it gives off, and it looks better and better with age. Instead of a table runner that always seems to be in the way, I keep a tray on the table that can easily be moved when it’s time for homework or dinner.
I hope my fall home tour gave you some decor ideas for your home! For more inspiration see my other fall home tours here and here.
As always, thank you for stopping by to visit!
