Working from home, my everyday uniform consists of jeans, sweaters and scarves but I need to take it up several notches when I travel for work. Most often, I’m up at 4:00 am and headed out the door at 5:00 am for the airport. Staying comfortable and stylish on a travel day is always a challenge, especially when going right from the airport to an all day meeting. Balancing comfort and professional is not always easy. You want to still look put-together when you arrive at your destination.

Your base layer is always the first step in creating a look that will keep you comfortable all day and Hanes Ultimate Bras are the answer. They go seamlessly under slim fitting sweaters and tee’s and they are tag-less! My favorite is the Hanes Ultimate Comfort Blend T-Shirt Wirefree Bra. It’s comfortable and you feel supported all day.

To create an effortless travel look it’s best to layer easy details like this plaid dress paired with leggings. You never want to be sitting in a meeting and spend the morning thinking you can’t wait to get to the hotel so you can change your clothes. Style an outfit that will take you through the day and onto dinner.

There is nothing worse than having to go barefoot through the security screening. Especially in the warmer months, don’t forget to wear socks and I always make sure I’m wearing shoes or booties that I can quickly slip on and off.

Temperatures on planes are sporadic. A blanket scarf or a jacket draped over your shoulders does double duty of keeping you warm and stylish and they can easily be stowed in your bag when you land. I like to pack these in my carry-on so I don’t have to juggle them when going through the security screening. Once through, if it’s chilly, you can put them on.

I hope these style tips for traveling are helpful!
