Welcome friends! If youโre here, you probably realize now that I am not Jill! She is away on vacation, so I am holding down the fort (or the link up!). If you followed my blog link, welcome to part 2 of styling a cropped tweed jacket.
CROPPED TWEED JACKET TWO WAYS
Since Iโve already shared how to style the cropped tweed jacket casually, letโs dress this beauty up! I love the idea of wearing it with slacks. Skinny or wide-leg slacks work equally well. Add a heel, and voila! This versatile jacket shines!
TWEED JACKET WITH WIDE LEG PANTS
Wide-leg pants, whether cropped like mine or full length look great with the more fitted style of the cropped tweed jacket. Itโs all about proportion, so the wider bottom is balanced by the more structured jacket.
SKINNY LEG SLACKS AND TWEED JACKET
The skinny leg pants from Loft work because the jacket isnโt skin tight. I added a blouse with more volume, too, and that helps with balance and proportion. I wouldnโt think twice about wearing this to work or church, but itโs so comfortable Iโd wear it out to dinner too!
I hope you are inspired to try a cropped tweed jacket yourself! You may already have one in your closet; if thatโs the case, Iโd love to see how you style it! Honestly, I have just scratched the surface here; once the weather warms, a skirt or even a pair of walking shorts would be so fun! Click here to see the other two ways I’ve styled my tweed jacket!
