When I find a company that offers pieces that combine comfort, quality, and style, I feel like I have to tell everyone about it, especially when they’ve been doing it for 130 years. Anthony’s Ladies Apparel is a Florida-based, family-owned company that’s been dressing women since 1895. Yes, you read that right—130 years. What started as a small general store in West Palm Beach has grown into a go-to destination for easy, wearable fashion that fits into everyday life. Their casual activewear line caught my attention recently. We all know why UPF clothing is important, and they have a great collection of everyday sun protective options.
With multiple skin cancer scares, protecting my skin from the sun is critical, and having pieces in my wardrobe that do that for me without any extra effort is a huge bonus. Anthony’s carries a great line of UPF50+ styles that offer built-in sun protection through the fabric, blocking 98% of the sun’s harmful rays. It’s one of the easiest ways to add a little peace of mind when you’re spending time outdoors, whether you’re doing an outdoor activity, sitting on a patio, or simply running errands on a sunny day.
sporty sun protection Outfit

While browsing Anthony’s for UPF clothing, I decided on the Pink Diana Floral 1/4 Zip UPF50+ Sun Shirt and a Navy UPF50+ Pleated Skort. Both pieces are lightweight, breathable, and ideal for warm weather. I paired them with Adidas sneakers and kept accessories minimal, just my everyday jewelry I’d wear any day of the week.

IBKUL makes the sun shirt with a patented IceFil UPF fabric that feels silky and cool to the touch. I love the pink and navy floral print, and that the fabric drapes and doesn’t cling.
The skort comes in several colors, and the fabric is buttery and soft, with just the right amount of stretch. It has built-in shorts underneath, but still feels more like wearing a skirt. The navy color is such a versatile base. I’ve already worn it with tanks, tees, and even a lightweight sweater for cooler mornings.
What I like about Anthony’s selection of UPF clothing is that it feels like regular clothes. Nothing about them looks overly technical or like something you’d only wear for a sport. I can throw this outfit on in the morning and wear it all day without feeling like I’m in performance gear.
More Than Just Resort and Active Wear

While Anthony’s is known for its resort collections, its site and stores carry a wide selection of pieces, from everyday basics, weekend getaway outfits, and casual dresses to lightweight layers and linen separates in addition to their UPF clothing. They also have a curated selection of brands like Charlie B, Spanx, Tribal and Habitat, which makes browsing their site feel more like shopping a really good boutique.

If you’re starting to think about your spring and summer wardrobe and want pieces that are easy to wear, comfortable in the heat, and still feel like you, I’d definitely recommend checking out Anthony’s. Their everyday UPF clothing is a great place to start if you want to add some sun-smart options to your closet without sacrificing style.
